This was a hard project becuase I bought a disposable camera to do the project only later to find i wish i had a digital camera to get better pictures but i have picked the best from the ones i had.

The Symmetrical Balance shot i took my glass half spheres and placed them on my table and arranged them in two arrows and took the picture with no flash.
The Asymmetrical one was fun i took the bowl and threw it on the table and took a picture of the spilled remains, nothing can be symmetrical to chaos :).
The Dominance one took forever, it so hard to balance those little half spheres of glass on each other finally i got it and it turned out great.
For repetition i made a repetitive color code, it reminds me of simon says red, blue, red, blue, red, blue or christmas lights.
The scale Change was hard also i only had like three diffrent sizes of half spheres so i took them and another and set them up to make an optical illusion to make the sizes seem to differ even more.
I was starting to run out of film by the time i got to Orientation and the simplest and most effective photo was this one, i took two glass half spheres adn placed a third on half of the lens to gain three diffrent points of view in one shot, one with no alterations, a close up taking half of the shot, and the third of a glass half sphere seen through the other.
When i saw Rhythm and movement i thought of music and dancing right away and how cool is it that they could serve as notes.
I chose to make a flower pattern out of my subject starting with my only yellow then red, blue, thne white.
Jeremy,
ReplyDeleteDon't be so hard on yourself judging these. Your rhythm and movement is the best. And your scale change and dominance are great. Very clever and shows insight to the principles.
